Annual Car Festival of Shree Shaneeshwara Temple Held

Mumbai, Feb 21: The sixth annual car festival of Shree Shaneeshwara Temple was celebrated at Nerul in Navi Mumbai here recently.

On the occasion various rituals were held for Shree Mahaganapathi, Hanuman and Shaneeshwara along with various puja and homa.



Cabinet member of Maharashtra and N C P leader Chagan Rao Bujabhal was present as the chief guest. The guests of honour were MLC Manda Mhatre, Navi Mumbai assistant mayor Shashikanth Birajdar, police official Vijaynath, police commissioner Ramarao, ICCI chief secretary Prof Rathnakar Shetty and ISKCON regional head Surdas were present.



Devotional music by Kalasaurabha and cultural programmes by children were performed on the occasion.



Navi Mumbai corporater workers and Shaneeshwara temple member Santhosh D Shetty welcomed the gathering and president Ramesh M Poojary honoured the guests and honorary secretary V K Suvarna proposed the vote of thanks.
