Prof Shiva Billawa Bags National Award in Essay Competition

Mumbai, Feb 17: Prof Shiva Billava, renowned writer has bagged prize in essay competition of ‘Indian Literature’ fortnightly journal published by Central Literary Academy, New Delhi.  All India level essay competition was organized by Indian Literature to mark their golden jubilee celebrations.  Prof Shiva Billava has bagged the prize for his English essay on ‘The intrinsic value of spoken literature’. 

Prof Shiva Billava, resident of Marol Maroshi, Andheri East, hails from Naikanakatte, near Kundapura of Karnataka.  He serves as a visiting economics professor at Sydenham College research centre.
