Dubai, Feb 10: Two light earth tremors hit Masafi on Friday evening, the first occurred just after 8pm, while the second occurred about 30 minutes later, according to the National Meteorology and Earthquake Centre.
The centre said the two tremors, each measuring 2.8 degree on the Richter scale, did not cause any significant damage or injuries, although both were felt by residents of the area.
They follow several other small quakes in the UAE last week.
