It is a nice gesture on the part of the Prime Minister of India to extend the invitation to the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to grace the occasion of India's Republic Day celebrations on January 26, 2017. Our mutual relations with Abu Dhabi is very essential because both India and Abu Dhabi have lot in common to work together for so many bilateral relations that will go a long way In strengthening relations between the two countries.

Small Sheikhdoms despite their small population have a great deal to offer to India thru so many Economic, Cultural and Social interactions. India has contributed so much of Human capital throughout the Gulf region where our friendship and trustworthiness is so much appreciated. India could be a lucrative customer for Abu Dhabi for our Energy needs, and a long term agreement could be the best trump card we have readily available for a mutually beneficial collaboration.
