Mumbai: Friendship Meet of Rajapur Saraswat Community Held

Mumbai, Feb 3: “Rajapura Saraswat community brethren are known for honesty and hard working”, stated KK Pai, chairman of Dr TMA Pai Foundation.

He was speaking at the friendship meet of Rajapur Saraswat community, which was held recently at GSB Seva Mandal, Sion (East), while handing over the scholarship papers to talented students. 


Rajapura Saraswat community brethren are like significant branch of Saraswat large banyan tree; who have made their mark owing to their honesty and hard work.  They are in general trustworthy.  There were so many Rajapura Saraswat community brethren working with him, when he served as the chairman of Syndicate Bank besides his teachers during early studies, he added.

Moreover, KK Pai has called on all brethren of both Gowda Saraswat Brahmins (GSB) and Rajapura Saraswat, to be united shunning whatever the differences; thereby serve the community to reach new heights.

Dr Ajit Gunjikal, Padmashree MV Kamath, TV Shenoy, president of Mumbai Kavale Math, Kedar Sukthankar, Santhosh Kamath, assistant general manager of Syndicate Bank, Narasimha Nayak, KV Prabhu, president of Rajapur Sangh, Belgaum and others were present at the occasion.

KK Pai felicitated KG Mallya, eminent writer and social worker, GV Masurkar of Chitrapur Math, Dinesh Pai of Kashi Math, VR Kamath of Gokarna Math, SV Pikale of Kavale Math, RK Naik, veteran social worker of Rajapura Saraswat community , Rajeev R Kamath, Swati Ramanna Shevde, first pilots of Saraswat community serving with Indian Airlines and Spice Jet, respectively.

Vishnumurthy Nayak, joint secretary of Rajapura Sangh, compered the programme.  Secretary proposed vote of thanks.
