St Mary's Orthodox Syrian Assn, Chakala Celebrates Annual Feast

Mumbai, Feb 1: The annual feast of Saint Mary’s Orthodox Syrian Association, Andheri Chakala and St Mary’s Orthodox Brahmavarians' Chappel was celebrated on a grand scale on Tuesday January 29.

Fr Lawrence D’Souza led the prayer services which began in the morning. The festal holy mass was offered by Fr Ramban G M Scaria, Parish Priest of St Mary’s Orthodox Syrian Church Brahmavar, Fr Jacob Kozy concelebrated the Eucharist.

Later in a stage programme,  Fr G M Scaria honored the sponsors Francis D’Souza and Cyril D’Souza. Fr Lawrence D’Souza welcomed the gathering. St Mary’s Orthodox Syrian Catholic Association treasurer John D'Almeida, secretary Lawrence Suares, Gladis F D’Souza, Julia S D’Souza and the office-bearers of Orthodox Syrian Catholic Association, Andheri (E) were present.

    It is nice to see that daijiworld had given the article about the celebration of our anual parish feast. thanks to daiji and group for it's great work so that non-mumbai's can have a look of their loved ones through these snaps which was given in the article.
