Bengal: Junior Cricketer Scores 301 Runs off 126 Balls

Kolkata, Jan 17: A junior batsman scored 301 runs off 126 balls on a single day in the Cricket Association of Bengal 110-point junior cricket tournament at Kanchrapara near Kolkata on Thursday.

Masrum Sarkar, turning out for Kanchrapara Cricket Coaching Centre, struck the dazzling triple hundred in the league match against Shilpashree Dum Dum Cricket Coaching Centre.

Right hand bat Sarkar, who came to bat at the fall of the third wicket, hit 19 fours and as many as 32 sixes as Kanchrapara were all out for 634 in 77.5 overs on the opening day of the two-day encounter.
