Demonetisation has hit terror outfits hard: Amit Shah

Chandigarh, Nov 20 (IANS): Defending the central government's demonetisation decision, BJP President Amit Shah said on Sunday that the "bold" move by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has hit terror outfits hard, leaving them penniless.

Addressing a rally of Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) booth-level leaders here on Sunday, Shah said the same people from opposition parties who used to demand that the Modi government should take action against black money, are now opposing the demonetisation move.

"It looks that they (opposition parties) have lost a lot (after the demonetisation)," Shah said.

"The demonetisation move has given a hard blow to terrorism. The terror organisations have been left penniless," Shah said.

He said that the country needed a surgery to cure it from the cancer of black money and the Modi government has done that.

In an oblique attack on the Congress and its leadership, Shah said it is the BJP which has an ideology and works for welfare of people with a focused target. "We link people with the ideology of BJP," he said.

"I ask the media, can you say who will be the next President of Congress? Of course, it will be Rahul Gandhi. If any child is born in their family in future, he will be the Congress President in coming years."

"Have you ever seen a man from a poor family going on to become the Prime Minister? You have to be born in a particular family to become the PM in Congress. But the BJP gives equal opportunity to all workers," he said.

He said that the Modi government had given powers to the armed forces to give a befitting reply to Pakistan's unprovoked firing at the border.

Scores of Congress workers were dispersed by the police using water cannons as they protested near the venue of the BJP rally.

Carrying black flags and shouting slogans against the Narendra Modi government and the BJP, especially targeting the demonetisation move, the Congress workers tried to break the police barricade near the rally venue in Sector 27.

The Chandigarh Police used water cannons to disperse protestors and prevent them from coming close to the venue.

The police later rounded up around 200 Congress workers.

If HE does not praise Modi, his boss, who else will - who have both formed this idea of demonitisation of rs. 500\1000 currency - shows the BJP hallmark of inexperience in such matters.
Actually how much B\M it has unearthed, what is the percentage?
Both are fooling people with tall talks.
Whatever that has been deposited by people to exchange 500\1000 is white money mostly which is their hard earned money which they can not lose because of this drastic step taken. Poor farmers who usually keep their hard earned money at home as they can not run to the bank every now and then to do immediate transactions and hence do not have an Bank a\c will be the sore losers...!!
Black money holders are not so dumb as these POLICY MAkers...!!!

God save the middle class and lower class (financially) people in the hands of these policy makers. I am sure, next budget will see more burden on these class of people in the Country.
People should start thinking from now who they should vote to power next time on to SAVE THEIR OWN SKIN!!!

Terror outfits and people who lived overseas Know that the Indian Rupees are worth just equivalent to paper money. It is very expensive to carry or hide Indian money due to it's low net value. All wealthy people, terrorists will not accumulate worthless Indian currency. They immediately change it in to US Dollars, Gold bars, security instruments like bonds and stocks, Real estate investment etc,. Taking away Indian money from circulation is only going to hit hard is poor Indian population, Low wage earners, illiterate population. Greatest enemy of poor and marginalized Indians is Indian Government. So what about handing over Indian Administration to England with 100 year lease agreement like Previous Administration of Hong Kong.

The terrorists are hurt. But, you have failed to read the news that over 2 million people habituating at the red light districts of India as male-female and transgender population lost their business and the prostitution business will be disappearing from India. Now the BJP got the real picture of the Terrorists of India who are standing in front of the Banks and ATM machines by the millions for days, and they are very severely punished already without any surgical strike on them without burning them alive. None of the BJP/RSS people are in the queue, so they are the only non-Terrorists. Someway, Modi's mother was enlisted in the terrorist's list.

If compare recent wedding by Reddy in Bangalore lavishly spending Rs. 500 crore when who country (only common man) was bleeding with crunch. What type of leader who keeps quiet on such irrational way of throwing black money.
Mallya took Rs. 10,000 crore and he is in safe Heavens in London. And they talk about brining Dawood back to India. Bull..

To everyone who is thinking cancelling 500 & 1000 notes and introducing 2000 notes would end black money and fake currency, I would request you to leave aside the politics behind and do a rationale thinking.
Black money is not eliminated, only our legal currency in Rs.1000 & Rs. 500 is made null and void and a new Rs. 2000 currency is introduced. In order to eliminate or reduce black money, we have to eliminate the scope for creating black money. For that to happen, Govt has to come up with stringent action against corruption and plug the loopholes in our legal and tax systems. We have to see what actions have been taken in the past two and half years to reduce the corruption by bureaucrats and ministers. How many people were caught for corruption and prosecuted in this period.
Since we have not seen any proactive actions by the Govt, other than rhetorics, we are not in position to believe that this action is purely to contain corruption. Even today, political parties can accept donations up to Rs. 20,000 without receipt or disclosing the donor. They can deposit crores as donations in 1000&500 rupee notes without disclosing the donors. This is just an example. So any Govt with real intentions would have acted on these areas from the beginning.
Similarly, doctors who is doing private practice to chaiwala selling tea without giving bills are all engaging in black money as per the Law. Same goes to babus indulging in corruption. Did all these people stop doing it from 9th November? If not, black money is created as usual. Secondly, only people who stashed excess currency will have any issues now. Most of the black money would have been already spent, converted to real estate, gold or sent abroad to some bank accounts in tax heavens or binami business. Nothing going to happen to all those huge illegal wealth at the moment. There is every chance that people will not keep any cash anymore and sent it abroad on a regular basis, which is very detrimental to our economy.

Every RBI printed note is white money. It can only have counterfiet.

Modi sees currency itself as black Money. That is ignoreance. If he talked of counterfiet, one could have understood.

Fight against black money is to be fought on different dimension.
Modi can not fight there because - he used the same money for his election. Who paid his 10000crore cost in 2014 election.

Now, that people have realized - how they are fooled by the Modi Govt. Now, the questions will be asked to Modi more strongly by middle class and general public.

Surgery has been conducted rightly, remember there always will be collateral damage.

Kashmir has become normal, see the effect of black and counterfeit money, no money no protest and no riots. Forget the terrorists of the world, Indian part is successful.

SBI has written off the Kingfishers loan as bad debts for cleaning their books rather than showing receivables, that does not mean that the loan is waived. Case and recovery mechanism will continue.

Congress will be a history unless they bring in democracy within. World over dynasty has no place, look at US elections, what happened?. We too want alternative to BJP since more than 2 terms will harm the Nations, but not Gandhi's please.

Currently PM is doing a great job in the best interest of the Country and this demonetization move is exemplary and bold, despite imminent elections.

Currency component in black wealth is only 9% and in 1978 demonetization, Morarji Desai said, it was to throttle Congress, since they were able to spend money like water and not that it would wipe out total black wealth. No politician in India has guts to tackle the major junk of 91%, which is in land, property, shares, gold and silver, since all politicians of all parties and their cronies are involved.
