Mumbai, Jan 1: Eleven people were injured in a car accident in central Mumbai on Monday, the police said.

One Indrajit Kaur (60) lost control of her Hyundai car near the flower market on Senapati Bapat Road in Dadar around 13:45 hours, leading to the accident.

All the injured have been admitted to KEM Hospital.

Kaur has been taken into custody, the police said.
