Six killed in Jharkhand road accidents


Ranchi, Oct 8 (IANS): At least six persons died in two separate road accidents in Jharkhand, police said.

Four persons died when a bus carrying around 50 persons hit a tractor in Hazaribagh district on Saturday morning. The incident took place around 130 km from Ranchi.

The bus coming from Gaya district in Bihar was going to Jamshedpur. The accident also left around 40 persons injured, who have been rushed to a local hospital for treatment, the police said.

According to the police, two youth, who were going on a bike, died on Friday evening after their vehicle hit a road divider in Ranchi.
