Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (KM)

Mangalore, Dec 25: The role played by morality is indispensable in the era of modern education. It is reported in media that students are increasingly addicted to bad habits. The negligence of parents to keep an eye on the activities of their children is also a contributing factor in this regard, cautioned Dharmapalanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri math branch located at Kavoor near here.

He was speaking at the annual day celebration of BGS Education Center and BGS High School held at the institution premises recently.

Inculcating and infusing morality among growing minds would necessarily inspire them to become responsible citizens of the nation, he suggested.

The syllabus of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is supplementary to modern education that provides room for innovation and rationalism. It would also effectively cater to the development of creative faculty of students. Hence the syllabus is preferred by parents whose children study in the schools and educational institutions who design their curriculum based on the CBSE syllabus, said N Nagaraju, joint director, CBSE of Chennai, who was the chief guest for the programme.

The BGS Educational Institution has won over the hearts of the parents in a short duration, the success should be attributed to the qualitative education provided by the institution, added Somanatha Swamiji of Adichunchanagiri Math located at Mysore.

Lata Rao, principal of BGS Education Centre read the annual report and Prakash P, principal of BGS High School read the report of the high school.

Veena Pinto, a student of class 6 welcomed the gathering while Sharat K M, a student of class 7 proposed the vote of thanks and Vibha Menon and Sai Prasad Bhandary, students studying in class 5 compered the programme.
