Five killed in road accident in UP's Varanasi


Lucknow, Oct 5 (IANS): Five persons were killed and four injured in a road accident in Varanasi district of Uttar Pradesh early Wednesday, police said.

The accident occurred when a DCM Toyota truck ferrying women labourers to Allahabad collided with a tempo at Kathwa turn on the Ghazipur-Hamirpur road. The dead included the truck driver and four women. 

The injured, including one who was critical, were admitted to a nearby medical facility.
