Ten coaches of Jhelum Express derail in Punjab


Chandigarh, Oct 4 (PTI): Ten coaches of the Jhelum Express derailed near Ludhiana early today, leaving two passengers injured.

"Ten coaches of the Jhelum Express derailed between Phillaur and Ladhowal at 3:05 am," Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Ferozepur Anuj Prakash said.

He said the train was coming from Jammu and going towards Pune when it went off the tracks. Further details are still awaited.

Two passengers have been injured in the incident, he said.

    Central Government is not bothered about repairing the railway tracks instead they are worried about bullet trains running on the same tracks. God knows how it will happen and only common man who is travelling on the train will suffer
