American Express joins Uber for corporate card programme


New Delhi, Sep 28 (IANS): American Express (AmEx) on Wednesday announced its collaboration with mobility solutions provider Uber to integrate the corporate card programme in India.

The tie-up allows AmEx to integrate its corporate card programme with Uber's platform 'Uber for Business'. 

"Companies using American Express Corporate Card programme will now be able to leverage Uber's global presence. Their employees while travelling for work can use 'Uber for Business' in any of the 70 countries in which Uber operates," the company said in a statement.

"The integration of American Express Corporate Card within the solution will offer added benefit of seamless payment and extended payment terms for our clients," added Saru Kaushal, Country Business Head, Global Corporate Payments, American Express India.
