Gunfight erupts in J&K's Bandipora district


Srinagar, Sep 22 (IANS): A gunfight broke out in Jammu and Kashmir's Bandipora district on Thursday between security forces and separatist guerrillas.

The police said security forces surrounded Aragam Chitti Bandi village early Thursday morning following information about some holed-up militants.

The gunfight was continuing, the police added.
