AAP MLA booked for rioting, damaging AIIMS property

New Delhi, Sep 12 (DHNS): Controversial AAP MLA Somnath Bharti has been booked for inciting a crowd and damaging the boundary fence of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).

Six security guards of the institute were injured in the incident that took place on September 9, said sources.

According to the FIR registered by AIIMS chief security officer S S Rawat, Bharti and his supporters tried to use a bulldozer to pull down the boundary wall of the institute in Gautam Nagar.

According to the sources, Bharti and his supporters claimed that the institute had been denying access to the Gautam Nagar residents and that the road belonged to the public.

“They were requested to produce the orders of the competent authority, but they failed to produce any. Further, they were not accompanied by any government official...they adopted unlawful ways to encroach upon the government land,” said the FIR.

However, the Malviya Nagar legislator said, “Modi police is working very well and harassing me. AIIMS is lying. They have been denying legitimate access to the residents. Wherever common man will be troubled I will go.”

‘Fight in court’

He brushed aside the charge of dismantling the wall and said, “I will fight in court.”

Bharti was earlier in the news for a domestic violence case filed against him by his wife and his controversial “raid” to unearth a sex and drugs racket in south Delhi in 2014.

Now even if an AAP MLA's pet dog urinates on a some pole on any street in Delhi then the Delhi police (who are controlled by the Central NDA/BJP govt.) seem likely to file an FIR against that AAP MLA.........lolz

I was there last week and they asked me and queried me almost for 1 hour because on my bag I had written "AAP Rao Delhi" which is my nick name and my bag was looking round in shape. I clarified it was AAP from Mangalore and not delhi and my round bag was purchased by great grand father .

Booking rioters for damaging public or Private property is very good step!
But why only AAP is targeted and other parties, appeared on so many news papers are spared is a question to many people!
selected actions amounts to witch hunting, injustice and misuse of power!

    1. I am happy AAP is punished for riots and damaging public property.
    2. I am critical about why other rioters, damagers of public property are not punished the way AAP is punished.
    3. In the eyes of law & Govt all are and should be alike.

We should have a solid act to book and punish to those who indulge and damage any public and private properties during the strike and riots

Because it is not possible for "Andh Bhakts" to see and also understand harassment from BJP of AAP whenever they do good which is most of the time. That is why you hear AAP's name every now and then with made up accusations from the Delhi police who are under Central Govt (BJP\Modi) Modi still smarting under that defeat where AAP won the election..!!!. Better leave at that...
