Mig-21 crashes in Rajasthan


New Delhi, Sep 10 (IANS): A Mig-21 fighter jet of the Indian Air Force (IAF) crashed near Barmer in Rajasthan on Saturday. Both pilots are safe, said IAF officials.

The aircraft took off from Utterali near Barmer. The crash occurred at 12.15 p.m., said the officials.

"Both pilots ejected safely. There was no reported damage to any civil or service property," an IAF official said.

A court of inquiry has been ordered into the crash.
