Mangalore: Imprints 07, National-level Science Fest from Dec 13

Mangalore, Dec 11: Imprints 07, a national-level inter-collegiate Science fest will be organized by the Science faculty of St Aloysius College here on Thursday December 13 and Friday December 14, said Prof Sweebert D’Silva, principal of the college at press conference here on Monday December 10.

He further said that S R Bhat, general manager, MRPL will be the chief guest, whereas Fr Francis Serrao SJ, rector, St Aloysius Institutions will preside over the function and Fr Francis Almeida, campus minister, St Aloysius College will be the guest of honour for the inaugural function.

This year more than 32 colleges across the country will participate in this national-level fest. It is for the first time ever since the fest was started in 1998 that it has been turned into a national-level fest. Various events will be held an exhibition will also be organized, the principal informed.

The valedictory ceremony of the fest will be held at 4.30 pm on Friday December 14, he added.

Ronald Pinto, vice-principal, College, Prof Narayan Bhat, fest organizer and Jimmy Mendes, student coordinator were present at the press meet.
