Jeweller Burnt to Death in Dindoshi

Mumbai, Dec 10: A burnt body of a 30-year-old jeweller was found in Dindoshi area in the wee hours of Monday, police said.

Naresh B Jain, who owns Rajdhani jewellers in suburban Dindoshi, was missing since last afternoon and his body was discovered by residents of an apartment block at Dindoshi around 5 am, they said.

"Some gunny bags were placed on the body, which was badly burned. Residents came down to check it out as some smoke and foul smell was emanating from there and discovered the body," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone XII), Shivaji Bodke said.

Jain had left his shop on Sunday morning without informing any of his workers following which the family had registered a missing complaint in the evening with the Dindoshi police station.
