New Delhi, Aug 16 (IANS): It was a pleasant Tuesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 26.4 degrees Celsius, the season's average so far.
"The day will start with partly cloudy sky however by the afternoon it will be generally cloudy sky. There are no sign for rainfall as for now," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The rainfall till 8.30 a.m in the morning also remained nil.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 35 degrees Celsius, the official said.
According to the weather office, humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 74 per cent.
Monday's minimum and maximum temperature was recorded at 27.0 degrees Celsius and 34.8 degrees Celsius respectively.
