New Delhi, Aug 6 (IANS): It was a cloudy Saturday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 29 degrees Celsius, two notches above the season's average.
According to the weather office, humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 83 per cent and rainfall in the past 24 hours was 0.2 mm.
"There will be a generally cloudy sky with light rains or drizzle likely to occur in some parts of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 37 degrees Celsius, the weather office said.
Friday's maximum temperature settled at 36.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average while the minimum was recorded at 28.6 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
