Gary Kirsten Likely to be Indian Cricket Coach

New Delhi, Nov 27: Former South African player Gary Kirsten is likely to be the next coach of the Indian cricket team.
A BCCI panel headed by Sunil Gavaskar interviewed Kirsten here on Monday.

Kirsten also met Indian Test captain Anil Kumble and former player Ravi Shastri.

Former Australian coach John Buchanan was among the other contenders for the post.

The final decision on the coach is likely to be announced within a week.

    Gary Kirsten is the very good choice for the coach of the Indian Cricket team. He deserved that post.
