Ten CRPF commandos killed in IED blast, 3 Naxalites shot dead

Updated

Patna, Jul 19 (Zee News): Patna: At least 10 CRPF commandos belonging to its elite COBRA battalion were killed in an IED blast triggered by Naxalites in the jungles of Bihar’s Aurangabad district on Monday night.

Three Naxalites were also killed in the encounter following the blast.

The jawans of the COBRA unit were ambushed in the IED blast after which an encounter started between the two, resulting in the killing of three Naxals.

The incident was reported from Chakarbanda forests of the said district, bordering Imamganj.

Some arms and ammunition were also recovered from the site.

Officials said the casualties may rise as some of the jawans of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (COBRA) were critically injured in an ongoing fierce gunbattle.

Officials said the mobile phone connectivity is very bad in the area hence much information is not trickling out.

The jawans belonged to the 205th COBRA battalion and were deployed in the state for conducting anti-Naxal operations.

This is one of the biggest casualties of the elite COBRA unit which has been raised by the CRPF for undertaking special jungle warfare operations.

Maoists killed ten CRPF commandos in Bihar, however, the news failed to interest media.

Those who killed the CRPF jawans were NOT termed 'Terrorist' or even 'Militant'. The words used were 'REBEL' other than 'NAXALS' and Maoists. The double standards are clearly visible. There is no love for soldier's life.
A soldier or a jawan killed anywhere in India doesn't anger you. You care least for his life. It's harsh but it's a fact. But you only get agitated in Kashmir, because here it has been termed a 'Hindu-Muslim problem'.

There were no tears shed for the jawans. In fact, 'national' media and newspapers ignored the news. For TV channels that are quick to call administration in Bihar, synonymous to 'Jungle-Raj' after every crime, such killings didn't lead to any fury.

    RIP brave Indian soldiers.

These are areas where Modi and his Government have failed totally after giving a false promise before the elections that they would transform India in the first six months. When they do not know how to start a dialogue since they do not know the problem, how can they solve problems facing this nation. Every best administrator is rubbished (Raghuram Rajan)as useless and humiliated by his partymen. Bureaucrats are demoralised. To save face he runs abroad to seek cheap thrills from the Press. His government has proved to be an empty vessel making more noise.

None will aware this news. Here neither condemn nor social media troll for this sacrifice.
Want to Nationalist, justify killing Kashmiris and support Army for killing our own people.
Kashmir is integral part of India and killing Kashmiri also integral rights of India as Bhakt believed.

this is the problem when you have animosity between state and center.. i am sure someone from bihar govt has tipped these people about the combing strategies. hence, i feel ARMY should be used at dense naxal affected region, cos they are not answerable to any state apparatus. most of these naxals act at the behest of local goon politician...
