Mumbai, Nov 14: Just Dial Services the country’s local search company announced the launch its very easy to use SMS Search on short code 53999. As a result of this facility of local search via SMS makes information now available at finger tips to all mobile users across the country, informs a press release from the company.

The release informs that Just Dial SMS allows consumers to search for any information - business listings, restaurants to taxi hire to movies to just about anything. Be it a company, product or service it gives users the liberty to define their search. To search, all the user has to do is send a text message to short code 53999 from their mobile phones. 

To give an example if a consumer is looking to find ‘Chinese Restaurant’ in a suburb of Mumbai - Bandra, he should type text message ‘Chinese Restaurant Bandra’ and send it to 53999. Instantly he will receive a list of Chinese Restaurants located in Bandra with their phone numbers. Similarly a consumer needs to type in the Text to 53999 and get the address and phone number of that hotel delivered to his mobile phone.

It is indeed a cool, quick and new way to get information of 42 cities in India even when there is no internet access. The service is currently available on Aircel, Airtel, BPL Mumbai, BSNL, Idea Cellular, MTNL Mumbai, Reliance CDMA and Vodafone, adds the press release.
