Mumbai, Oct 27: An awareness programme on mental illness will be organized by Bombay Catholic Sabha at St Pius X Seminary Hall, Aarey Road, Goregaon East, here on Saturday October 27.

Mental illness, if not treated at an early stage becomes a serious problem for the entire life. Stigma attached to the illness also plays a negative role in the treatment and recovery.

An acclaimed film "Maze Ghosta" (My Story) that deals with how to cope up with mental illness, its symptoms and treatment will be screened. It also deals with the agony, the family of the sick goes trough owing to stigma and the recovery of the patient to lead a normal life.

A live show of dance, songs and music by those patients recovered from the illness will be presented to bring home the message that you are not lost but cared back to life.
