The participating artistes are multi-talented. Besides being ardent Konkani lovers, they are lively stage actors, accomplished singers and hilarious comedians. These veteran / budding artistes have pooled their local talents and are making their annual and much-awaited cultural event a feast of fun and frolic, music and dance, jokes and comedy and all the more a hilarious skit!

Under the guidance of acclaimed music directors Oliver Sequeira and Joyson D'Souza assisted by Ian Sequeira and Gordy D'Souza, celebrated Konkani singers like Manohar Pais, Wilson D'Souza, Gerry D'Mello, Anita Prabhu, Sonia Monteiro, Aditi Pinto, Venessa D'Souza, Lawrentina and Clementina D'Souza will enthrall the Konkani music lovers with their swinging, tilting and enchanting songs. Under the leadership of Canada's Comedy King and Radio Mango Award recipient Flavian Pinto, popular comedians like Rony Monteiro, Santhosh D'Souza, Raymond Monteiro, Max and Nancy Mendes all set to amuse the audience with their ribs-tickling jokes.

The enactment of Konkani's highly commended and record breaking comedy skit 'Kazarachi Dhothorn' written by (the late) M P D'Sa will be an added attraction and an icing on the cake. This super skit will be presented by actors par-excellence Rony Monterio, Flavian Pinto, Manohar Pais and Wilson D'Souza and directed by one and only Konkani's ace Manohar Pais.

The whole show will be compered by none other than the admired compere Donald Alva.

Highlighting the programme details of ‘Kala Saanz', an event that Canara World Foundation presents every year to showcase the talents of Canarite immigrants in Canada, Max Mendes, the dynamic president of Canara World Foundation Inc informed daijiworld, "We are extremely excited and proud to host such a unique Konkani cultural show in Canada. This event will give a great opportunity for Konkani music amateurs to showcase their ability. The members of the organizing committee have worked very hard to plan this magnificent event."

After the thrilling success of 'Wilfy Nite' in 2005, 'Claud Nite' in 2008, 'Henry Nite' in 2009, 'Melwyn Peris Nite' in 2010, ‘Claud Nite' in 2011, ‘Local Artistes' Nite' in 2012, ‘Wilfy Nite in 2014', this year's Canara Kalasaanz-2016 presented by highly talented local artistes too is sure to attract Konkani music lovers in large numbers.
