Mumbai, Sep 12: Monti Fest was celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes church, Orlem, Malad here with great devotion and pomp. The fest was organized by Konkani Welfare Association Orlem under the leadership of president Irene Rodrigues.

Fr Ruben, Fr Johnson and Fr Salvadore offered the solemn mass.

Later, the cultural programme started with the welcome song by Irene Rodrigues and group. Lilly Miranda read the report of the organization while Joy Paladka spoke on the importance of the day.

Main attraction of the programme was the drama "Zaunyam Vor, Vor, Vor Mhojem" written by Percy Urva and played by Felix D’Souza, Malvani,  Cyril Castelino, Ahmedabad, Irene Rodrigues, Malad, Sylvia Albuquerque, Orlem, Winston D’Souza, Malad, Ashley Albuquerque, Orlem and Neswin Pereira, Malad.
