Mumbai, Sep 12: State governor S M Krishna has congratulated the Indian hockey team for its superlative performance of winning prestigious Asia Cup at Chennai on Sunday September 9.This was stated in a press release issued by Raj Bhavan here on Monday September 10.
In a congratulatory message, the Governor said “All through the Asia Cup Tournament, the performance of Indian hockey team had been exciting and reminiscent of India's golden years in hockey. The thumping victory against Korea in the finals of the Asia Cup at Chennai has come as the icing on the cake and is sure to boost the morale of sportspersons in India.”
He further congratulating the team, hoped that the team will continue to have a dream run in the future too.
