Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (SM)

Udupi, Sep 7: ‘Save Earth’ a five-day campaign held under the auspices of Leo club and Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT), at Manipal University, was inaugurated here on Wednesday September 5.

Pushpa Kini, director of student affairs inaugurated the camp.

Inaugurating the camp, she said that forests and trees are the need of the hour. We should try to conserve forest, she added. She further said the students to plant more saplings in their surroundings and maintain ecological balance.

The camp started with elocution competitions. The slogan-writing competition too was held on the same day.

    Well, it is good to see students taking interest to save the world infact I myself a student of St.Aloysius College has written a book 'Shall we save the Earth?' which is available at the following link: http://www.authorhouse.com/BookStore/ItemDetail.aspx?bookid=45020 The only method to save the human race from anihilation is by curbing selfishness from its root if we fail, then human race will see its end by the year 2050. 

    Of course it is the students who should be more interested to save the human race because it is they who will live upto 2050 the persons who are ruling this earth at present will not be alive upto 2050 LET STUDENTS UNITE TO JOIN THE CRUSADE TO SAVE THE EARTH. THANK YOU ROYSTON
