Fluminense sign deal for Napoli defender Henrique

Rio de Janeiro, Dec 28 (IANS): Brazil's Fluminense have signed former Brazil international centre-back Henrique from Italian football club Napoli.

Fluminense on Sunday agreed to acquire 100 percent of the defender's economic rights for two million euros, Brazil's Globo newspaper said.

The 29-year-old has endured an injury-interrupted year and has not played for the Italian Serie A club since May, reports Xinhua.

The Rio de Janeiro outfit also secured highly rated teenage striker Richarlison.

The 18-year-old was a revelation in Brazil's Serie B last season, scoring nine goals for America Mineiro.
