New Delhi, Dec 4 (IANS): The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 12 noon on Friday after the BSP and Samajwadi Party members created ruckus over the union minister V.K. Singh's "dogs" remark over Dalits and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's remarks over construction of Ram temple.
Soon after the house assembled for the day, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati raised the issue of remarks made by V.K. Singh and sought action against him.
Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Ramgopal Yadav raised the issue of Bhagwat's remarks and demanded action against him for spreading communal tension.
The BSP and SP members trooped into well raising slogans against Singh and Bhagwat.
Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari adjourned the house till 12 noon.
