India reach 85/2 at lunch against South Africa


Nagpur, Nov 25 (IANS): South African bowlers struck twice to remove both Indian openers as the hosts reached 85/2 at lunch on the opening day of the third Test of the four-match series against South Africa at the Vidarhba Cricket Association Stadium here on Wednesday.

Cheteshwar Pujara (18) and skipper Virat Kohli (11) were on the crease for the home side when lunch was called after openers Murali Vijay (40) and Shikhar Dhawan (12) were dismissed.

For the visitors, seamer Morne Morkel and spinner Dean Elgar picked one wicket each.
