Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen to miss Germany games

Barcelona, Nov 10 (IANS): Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen will miss this week's training sessions with his Spanish football club and Germany's international friendlies because he has to undergo dental surgery.

The German goalkeeper will not participate in the next four training sessions scheduled by Barcelona coach Luis Enrique from Tuesday to Friday at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper and will take the weekend to complete his recovery from the surgery, the club announced on Monday, reports Efe.

It has been agreed that treatment would take place during a break in the football competitions due to international commitments, so Ter Stegen has not been called by his German national team for the friendlies against France and the Netherlands.
