Sushma discusses Libya situation with Tunisian counterpart


New Delhi, Oct 28 (IANS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday met her Tunisian counterpart Taieb Baccouche and discussed the situation in Libya where three Indians are held hostage by Islamic State.

External affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup said that Baccouche assured Sushma Swaraj that Tunisia was always ready to provide all necessary assistance to help free them.

Baccouche, who met his Indian counterpart on the sidelines of India-Africa Summit here, invited her to visit Tunisia for joint commission meeting of the two countries.
