London, Oct 28 (IANS): Both Arsenal and holders Chelsea were unable to pass the fourth round of the English League Cup.
Arsenal suffered a surprise loss to Championship team Sheffield 0-3, while Chelsea were sent packing with a 4-5 penalty shootout loss at Stoke after the teams finished 1-1, reported Xinhua.
Arsenal, level with Manchester City at the top of the Premier League, lost Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott to injuries in the first 20 minutes.
