Mumbai, Aug 1:
Two schools in Bandra were evacuated on Wednesday August 1, after authorities reportedly received hoax bomb calls, the police said.

An unidentified caller rang up Cardinal Gracious School in Kherwadi and said a bomb had been planted in the premises, they said.

Similarly, a municipal school in the same area received an anonymous call that sparked a bomb scare in the institution.

Bomb disposal and detection squads rushed to both schools, which were evacuated. But both threats turned out to be hoaxes, the police said.

Police suspect the same person was behind both calls and are tracing the number of the caller.

"Some persons who are unhappy with the admission process could have done this mischief," a police official said.
