Delhi Dynamos to continue pre-ISL training in Denmark

New Delhi , Sep 14 (IANS): Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Delhi Dynamos will continue their pre-tournament training in Denmark after completing their Sweden tour, the franchise said on Monday.

Dynamos will play against local side FCV Vikings in a friendly match on September 16. Dynamos started their pre-tournament training in Sweden at the start of the month.

"The experience in Sweden was fantastic with quality infrastructure and opponent. We are expecting the same from Denmark as Sweden and Denmark are one of the best European football nations - infrastructure and game wise," Dynamos president Prashant Agarwal said in a statement.

"It was very strategic of us to play difficult games before we go back to India so as to estimate what we can expect from our opponents back at home and improve ourselves accordingly," he added.

Dynamos will be coached by Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos, who is also their marquee player. The franchise also boasts of big names like Frenchman Florent Malouda and Norwegian John Arne Riise.
