Archery WC: Compound team to battle for bronze


Medellin (Colombia), Sep 11 (IANS): After having qualified easily, the India compound mixed team lost out in the semi-final and would now battle for bronze at the fourth leg of the archery World Cup here.

On Wednesday night, the compound mixed team comprising Trisha Deb and Sarvesh Pareek beat Denmark and Colombia before facing Slovenia in the semis but lost 152-153 and failed to reach the finals. India will now compete against America for the bronze.

In the recurve mixed event, India lost in their first round encounter against Japan.
