'Playing for Brazil harder than any football club'

Paris, Aug 27 (IANS): French club Lyon's Brazilian right-back Rafael da Silva has opined that playing for Brazil is harder than any other club team because mistakes cannot be made at that level.

The Brazilian international recalled on Wednesday a mistake he made in the final at the 2012 Summer Olympics against Mexico, when he made a poor pass just 30 seconds into the game that resulted in a goal for the opponents, reports Efe.

Mexico went on to beat Brazil in that game 2-1.

Rafael noted that he was frustrated for not getting called up by the Brazilian national team even though he has trained hard for the new season.

The 25-year-old joined Lyon a few weeks ago, after playing with Manchester United for eight years.
