Britain's Ennis-Hill wins heptathlon at Athletics Worlds


Beijing, Aug 23 (IANS): Olympic champion Jessica Ennis-Hill won her second world heptathlon title on Sunday after fellow Briton Katarina Johnson-Thompson failed to score in the long jump at the 15th World Athletics Championships here.

Ennis-Hill garnered 6,669 points, beating into second place Canada's Brianne Theisen Eaton, who had 6,554 points, reports Xinhua.

Latvia's Laura Ikauniece-Admidina took the bronze medal with 6,516 points.
