Mumbai, Jun 16: Nineteen young footballers from Ryan International Sports Club were invited by AC Milan Football Club to participate in a specially conducted Football Development experience, where they gained international playing exposure with AC Milan’s football junior teams at Lombardia Uno Sport Center for Training. 

A press release stated that these young football players from Ryan International School have also been invited to participate in Gothia Cup in Sweden which has participation from 67 different countries; Dana Cup which is Denmark’s largest sporting event and world's third largest youth soccer tournament and the Yorkshire Cup in United Kingdom. The Ryanites have also been chosen as the flag-bearers to represent India and will be playing with teams from Italy, France, Brazil, Argentina, England, Holland, Hungary, Poland, Spain etc.

Grace Pinto, the managing director of the Ryan International Group says ‘Sports as a common denominator helps to bring the youth of the world together and our chairman Dr Augustine Pinto’s vision is to develop our students to be global leaders and represent India for the forthcoming FIFA World cup. All these international opportunities enable our students to reach this vision.’

The Ryanites had also recently participated in a leadership development programme conducted at Public Institution School District 42 in Canada, where they had a great exposure to face the future global challenges. The Ryanites are also preparing themselves to represent India at the Presidential Classroom to be conducted in Washington, DC in July, which shall hold the Future World Leaders Summit. Presidential Classroom provides the next generation with an extraordinary academic and leadership development experience in Washington, DC, the release stated.
