Jwala-Ashwini ousted from World badminton

Jakarta, Aug 14 (IANS): Top Indian doubles shuttlers Jwala Gutta and Aswini Ponnappa were knocked out of the women's doubles quarterfinals at the World Championships here on Friday.

The 13th seeds lost 23-25, 14-21 in 46 minutes to unseeded Japanese pair of Naoko Fukuman and Kurumi Yonao at the 9,000-seater Istotara Senayan.
