Real Madrid agrees on Pacheco's transfer to Alaves

Madrid, Aug 8 (IANS): Real Madrid has agreed to the transfer of its third goalkeeper Fernando Pacheco to Deportivo Alaves, which competes in the Segunda Division.

"Real Madrid and Deportivo Alaves have reached an agreement on the transfer of Fernando Pacheco. Real Madrid reserves the right to bring the player back to the club in a buy-back clause," according to the Real Madrid's official website on Friday, reports Efe.

Pacheco was promoted through the ranks of Real Madrid to feature with the first team in a Copa del Rey game last season.

The Spanish goalie won the UEFA European Under-19 Championship title with the Spanish national team.

Real Madrid Castilla goalkeeper Ruben Yanez will replace Pacheco, after playing in the pre-season period with Real Madrid under the command of coach Rafael Benitez.
