Mumbai, Jun 2: The annual litany of the Holy Cross of Chakala, Andheri (east) was held here on Thursday May 31.
Fr Arrol Fernandes, parish priest, Holy Family Church, Chakala, offered the Mass. The Cross was reconstructed last year.
The litany was held by the committee members, faithful of Chakala, Dewoolvadi, Islampura and the neighborhood.
Holy cross of Chakala committee president Walter Gonsalves welcomed the gathering. Vice-president Eric Gonsalves, secretary Louis Alvaris and treasurer and senior adviser Ganpath T Shetty were present on the occasion.
Andrew D’Souza, Dominic Goudinho, Anthony D’Silva, Arrol Barnes, Anthony Almeida, Cecil Fernandes, Norma Dillon, Cementaine Pereira, Julie Dais, Henry D’Souza, Cheriat Sajan and other committee members were also present.
