Espanyol sign Chilean footballer Enzo Roco

Barcelona, Aug 1 (IANS): Espanyol have announced the arrival of Chilean footballer Enzo Roco on loan, with an option to purchase, for the 2015-2016 season.

The defender signed the contract with Espanyol on Friday morning at the Cornella-El Prat stadium and has already passed the medical examination, reports Efe.

The 22-year-old had a strong showing last season, when he played for Elche.

However, Espanyol negotiated with Roco's owner, Chilean side O'Higgins, for the full ownership of the player's federal and economic rights.
