New Delhi, Jul 28 (IANS): It was a hot and humid Tuesday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius, the Met office said.
"Though it is hot and humid right now, it will be a cloudy day later. Light rain may occur in some areas of the city," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius.
According to the weather office, humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 77 percent.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 36 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature settled at 26 degrees Celsius, two notches below the season's average.
