Seematti’s World’s Longest Silk Sari displayed at Ansar Mall, Sharjah

Sharjah, May 27: South India’s leading lady entrepreneur and designer, Beena Kannan is the powerhouse of the innovations at seematti. She conceptualized, designed and created the World’s longest silk sari making immeasurable impact worldwide among Indians.

Over in the years Seematti’s portfolio has extended from silks through cottons and synthetics to myriad postmodern fabrics and blends for one and all in the family. Seematti was adjudged Kerala’ No 1 textile retailer by CNBC Awaaz survey 2006. Entered Guinness book of World Records and Limca Book of records for creating World’s largest sari measuring nearly ½ a kilometer.







Content of Sari – 51 pallavs depicting the India’s cultural and historical heritage. Pictures woven on the pallavs include India’s great personalities, cultural festivals, architectural landmarks, dance forms, animal and bird pictures, regatta, musical instruments of India to name a few
