Mumbai, May 26: 'Anchilath-Inchilath', a famous Tulu play was recently held at St Joseph's Church grounds at Mira Road here recently.  The play was organized by hotelier and the director of Henbrige Hospitalities Pvt Ltd Maxim Mathias on the occasion of the 65th birthday of his mother Bridget Mathias.

The play was presented by Lakumi troupe from Mangalore.  Speaking on the occasion parish priest Fr Rudolf D’Souza said that the media and the people should have an interest to foster one's mother tongue.

Mira Road-Bhayndar corporator Gilbert John Mendonca was the chief guest on the occasion.  He felicitated well-known Tulu actor Navin D Padil on the occasion.

Famous surgeon and the director of Deepak Hospital Dr Bhaskar Shetty, Malaika Group of company’s director Gilbert Baptist, Prakash M Shetty Suratkal and Sscial worker Lawrence Rodrigues were also present on the occasion.

Manjunath Addappa presided over the function and Rons Bantwal proposed vote of thanks.
