India opt to bat against Zimbabwe


Harare, July 17 (IANS): India captain Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to bat against Zimbabwe in the first of the two Twenty20 Internationals being played at the Harare Sports Club here on Friday.

The teams:

India: Ajinkya Rahane (captain), Murali Vijay, Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Stuart Binny, Axar Patel, Harbhajan Singh, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Mohit Sharma, Sandeep Sharma.

Zimbabwe: Hamilton Masakadza, Chamu Chibhabha, Chris Ervine, Charles Coventry, Elton Chigumbura (captain), Sikandar Raza, Prosper Utseya, Grame Cremer, Neville Madziva, Chris Mpofu, Taurai Muzarabani.
