Mumbai, May 20:
Six youth were arrested on charges of rioting and damaging public property near here in reaction to the Friday's bomb blast at Mecca mosque in Hyderabad, police said on Saturday.

At least four Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport Undertaking (BEST) buses were damaged after stone-pelting in Kurla immediately after the blast on Friday.

"All the youths hail from pockets in Kurla itself and claim they indulged in the rioting as a reaction to the bomb blasts at Hyderabad," Deputy Commissionmer of Police (Zone V), DM Phadtare said.

He said that the arrested youth did not have any past criminal records.
